In our domain of capacity building (training and coaching) and support to the underprivileged, YAD supported Helping Hands Children Home (HHCH) and a host of underprivileged groups in Ndu sub division. We trained the children on proper ways to farm so as to improve on their farm out put. The trainings and assistance received by these orphans and underprivileged groups have encouraged them to be actively involved in agriculture thus making their lives very cost effective.  65% of agricultural land in Cameroon is found in the rural areas. In our Poverty reduction programs, most of our past projects have improved the livelihood of a great number of youths in these rural communities. Information, education and trainings on agric income generating sectors have been organized to economically empower the youths and small scale farmers thus reducing poverty in our targeted communities. |
